Holy Family Catholic School belongs to the Southern Springfield Catholic Athletic Conference in Illinois. The purpose of the school-sponsored athletic program is to teach skills necessary for games, foster healthy exercise, teach fair play, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and give enjoyment to students.
Students can participate in the following sports:
- Soccer – Boys & Girls; Grades 2 & 3
- Volleyball – Boys & Girls; Grades 5-8
- Basketball – Boys & Girls; Grades 4-8
- Track & Field – Boys & Girls; Grades 5-8
Students participating in the athletic program are expected to maintain satisfactory grades, effort, conduct, and attendance. Participants must also have a current sports physical form on file in the school office.
The Holy Family sports program is run by volunteers, providing their time and effort to guide our children. Parents of all athletes are required to work at games scheduled at Holy Family Gym or at track meets to insure participation and continuation of a quality program.
